Criminology and CAP

Single subject study for Criminology and Socio-Legal Studies

The Community Access Program (CAP) enables you take selected criminology, socio-legal studies and forensic psychology coursework subjects without committing to an entire program of study, or necessarily meeting degree entry requirements.

Students may take single subjects with or without the assessment component, but are otherwise able to use the range of facilities and library resources available to every University of Melbourne student. It's a great way to put a toe in the water with subjects that interest you.

CAP enrolment is organised by the Faculty of Arts CAP Office. Visit the CAP website for information about fees or to apply.

What are intensives?

Instead of a small number of weekly contact hours over a semester, intensive subjects are taught over a handful of whole days. They are otherwise conventional subjects which have the same value in your degree as semester long equivalents.

Please note that 2008 timetables are subject to confirmation.
