Based in the School of Political Science, Criminology and Sociology, Socio-Legal Studies offers students the chance to study law in its societal, political, and cultural context as part of their Bachelor of Arts degree.

Socio-Legal Studies lets you critically and constructively analyse the role of law in Australian and other societies. Find out what our students say about Socio-Legal Studies!

It's possible to complete an undergraduate major in socio-legal studies, Honours in socio-legal studies, and a range of postgraduate courses including the MA and PhD.
